We are currently seeking a Teacher of Spanish to join our Languages Department as Head of Department. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Spanish department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Deliver engaging lessons in Spanish that meet the needs of all students at Key Stage 3 & 4.
  • Develop curriculum plans, resources, and assessments aligned with school policies.
  • Support colleagues within the department through mentoring and professional development.
  • Monitor student progress and implement strategies to improve outcomes.
  • Promote a positive attitude towards language learning across the school community.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualified teacher status or equivalent qualification suitable for teaching in UK secondary schools.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Spanish language and culture.
  • Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and staff members.
  • Leadership potential or experience desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Ability to plan effectively for diverse learners including those with additional needs.
