Optional Summer Projects
We are keen to encourage students to challenge themselves and make best progress which is why we offer these optional summer projects; projects can be completed during the summer and then submitted when students join us in September, for what we affectionately call Boot Camp.
To support your child's transition to North Cestrian School, we are running a two-day Summer School. Previous incoming students have found this enormously helpful in building familiarity with the school building, staff and classmates. Please read the above Summer school letter.
Also, encourage your child to take a look at our Year 7 Thought Bubble. Here they can read lots of comments from other students who started in Year 7 previously. It may help them to feel more confident about starting school in September.
