Applying for a place in year 7
Applications to North Cestrian School for Year 7 entry are made via the Common Application Form (CAF). This form will be sent to you by your Local Authority around September.
To apply to our School you must name North Cestrian School on the CAF, which must be submitted to your Local Authority by 31st October.
When the school is oversubscribed, priority for admission will be given to those children who meet the criteria set out in our Admissions Policies
Offers will be made by your Local Authority on 1st March (National Offer Day).
If your child is not offered a place on National Offer Day, you have the right to appeal. Information about appeals and the appeal application form will be available on our website following National Offer Day.
